Consultation & Payment Instructions
1. This is an optimized set of intake/payment instructions to schedule a paid consultation with the Law Office of Nick Mermiges.
2. We generally have availability for a consult within the next 0-4 business days. We charge $300 for a phone consult of up to 45 minutes, and $600 for an in person consult of up to 90 minutes. If you received a text mesage with this link in response to a call, we have immediate availability for phone consults.
3. To schedule a phone consult, pay $300 via credit, debit or e-check via lawpay (click here) and then send a text to 803-587-0472 or an e-mail to Nick@NDMLaw.com with your name and times of availability for a call over the next 4 business days. We are sometimes able to do a consult the same day or the next day, so if (for example) you make the payment on a Monday, send a message with you availability for a call on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We are usually open for consultations between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM, M-F.
4. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to your scheduling messages, because there are times we are very busy. If we are unable to consult with you for any reason, your payment will be promptly refunded through the LawPay payment portal. A sample retainer agreement, and the standard terms that apply to all of our consultations, is available here.
5. To schedule an in person consultation, take the same steps as #3 (pay $600 via credit, debit or e-check via
lawpay (click here)) and contact us with your availability over the next 3-10 business days. In person consultations sometimes may need to be scheudled up to a week out, based on our avaibilty and demand from other clients. We do recommend but do not require that you complete and e-mail us this intake form (which requires microsoft word) if you are doing an in person consult.
